Funny how little coincidences in life happen. Over the last few weeks I've been reading the Albert Goldman biography 'The Lives of John Lennon.' I've also just hooked up with a production company to make '20 Golden Greats' our first-ever vinyl-only release.
I've been advised that, just as I remember in the old days, a proper mastering process is needed to ensure the best quality sound. To this end, I've been referred to the engineers at the famous Abbey Road Studios, which of course was where The Beatles recorded.
A 'Best Of' album mastered at Abbey Road? I'd buy that...
