'Illuminate'

This is an animated film, not really a music video, for my track 'Illuminate' which is about isolation and loneliness. The starting point was a painting I originally submitted to the 9/11 Museum, which I'd animated in a subsequent video. For this film I then abstracted the whole thing out so only the colours and tonal relationships of the original image are visible. I had been thinking about a lyric for the song, but instead I decided to use Burroughs' 'cut-up' method to create a kind of Beat poem to go along with the music. The whole is designed to give you an audiovisual experience.
